About the club:
Students will write and submit to national/international writing contests once a month for Jan-June.
Schedule:
We meet on the 1st Sundays.

Before the class: Students will receive learning resources & videos on the topic to get them prepared and excited about writing!
During the class: In this 1-hour highly interactive class, we'll analyze the essay contest topic, read and discuss winning essays from previous years, and learn writing techniques. Students will develop their own personal views, perspectives and experiences to help bring their thoughts and visions alive. Students will then draft their own esssays and receive feedback from teachers and peers. Whole class presentation and separate zoom breakout sessions for small group discussion and individualized instruction. We use padlet and jamboard and the class is higly interactive!
After the class: Students will receive detailed info for submission to the international essay contest.
