NextGen Edu Annual Poetry Contest 2022

April is National Poetry Month! We’ll launch the NextGen Poetry contest 2022. 

Contest submission & deadline: We invite students (Grades 3-12) to submit 1 original poem to us (nextgenedu88@gmail.com) by 11:59PM PST, 4/30/2022. Please make sure to include "NextGen Edu Poetry Contest Submission" in the email title. 

Winners will be announced at the end of May.

Theme: Summer! Interpret the theme as broadly as you like! Write about a summer memory, a summer vacation, summer activities, weather, or nature! Maybe you want to write about a summer adventure or summer camp. Use your imagination!

Contest Rules:

Your poem can be in any form, and can be rhymed or in free verse.

Your poem must be in a 12 pt. font, and can be no longer than one page.

You must submit your poem in one of the following formats: .doc ; .docx ; .pdf ; .txt ; .rtf .

Poems are judged within grade categories, 3-5th, 6-8th and 9-12th
